Today, we live in a society full of visual messages that we have to face each day. In which, we designers play the fundamental role of getting that information to as many people as possible. Use graphic design as a tool for blind people to have a greater access to information, thus helping them to better include them in society, it is one of the main objectives of "Synesthesia".

Project Content

This project consists of a total of 5 books. Two main ones, composed of 89 pages, of which 36 are graphic examples that make information easier to understand for sighted and blind people.

The first book, “Synaesthesia for the blind” is made specifically for blind people. It uses white pages, graphic examples in relief and the use of braille. “Synaesthesia for the sighted” is the second book. This book offers the challenge of putting themselves in the shoes of a blind person. Through a poetic form and the use of the colour black, it tries to express the difficulties that blind people can have. For example, the absence of light. Thirdly, an experimentation booklet is made, which collects the experiences and impressions of several people when reading Sinestesia for the first time. Finally, the project report and a Corporate Identity manual are made, for a better understanding of the Synaesthesia

brand. Being an inclusive project, two versions of the brand are made, one for sighted people and another for blind people.
